Gaucho knife, referred to as a 'Cuchillo' knife, is handmade by the skilled hands of Argentine Artisans in Tandil, world re-known for having all the best knife crafters. This piece has a hand forged, full tang, 440 Stainless steel with convex edge knife blade and a beautiful Guayacan wood handle. Blade measures 5.5” with a total length of 26cm - 10.2” Guayacan wood is one of the densest hardwoods worldwide and is especially well suited for an outdoor tool such as a Gaucho knife. It has extraordinary moisture barrier properties and can withstand a lifetime of use. Handsomely accented with alpaca silver at the bolster and butt end of knife with a center silver accent. Paired with an extra special cowhide leather sheath for blade protection. (Choose below for your preferred scarab) Total length of knife is 10,2". If not familiar with Guayacan wood, it is considered an exotic wood and is extremely durable, especially against weather, moisture, rot and abrasions. This knife is listed in our 14cm - 16cm blade knife section. However, we have this single knife which has some damage at the center of the handle where there is an alpaca silver spacer. (photo below)
