A working piece of art! Cuchillo Gaucho knife braided with multiple strands of rawhide leather, called tientos, by hand and imported from Argentina. Its knife blade is a full tang, 14cm (5.5”) ‘Patagonia’ brand blade, made of 440 stainless steel with a 4mm spine, convex edge and spear point tip. The total length of 26cm - 10.2” Last but not least, the blade is polished to a beautiful mirror finish. A hand cut & hand stitched raw leather blade sheath for the blades protection as well as carrying. Knifes braided handle is accented with alpaca silver. A handsome piece for using, displaying or collecting!

Beautifully finished with hand cut and hand sown rawhide leather. Crafted by the skilled hands of the Argentine knife makers, who to this day still use ‘the old-world techniques and hand forging methods which have been practiced by many generations. (Actually, since the Spanish Conquerors introduced these handsome pieces in the mid 1500's to Argentina. Each knife if balanced to perfection, therefor this knife can be used by either a right or left handle user.
