Natural Bone and Walnut Wood with Brass Accents - Fixed Blade Gaucho Knife - Handmade in Argentina - EA-CI0714/546
A handsome combination of natural bone, Argentinian hardwoods with solid brass spacers at butt, bolster and center of handle. Paired with a 16cm (6.2”) ‘Dagger’ brand blade, which is a hand crafted, full tang, 440 stainless steel with a convex cutting edge with wide spine and swage at tip of blade. Leather blade cover has ‘pocket tab’ which allows for carrying in pocket, boot or belt… just like the Gaucho cowboys of Argentina. 100% hand crafted in Argentina by the skilled hands of Artesians, with their century old techniques of crafting. The total length of this fixed blade knife is approximately 11”, again with a 16cm blade.
440 Stainless steel
16cm - 6.2” Dagger blade
Bone, walnut wood & brass handle
Discounted for the rough edge of the brass spacer at center of handle, where hardwoods and bone are sectioned apart. Visually perfect looking, but by touch a bit of roughness.
Knife blades lose their sharpness with use, especially the carbon steel blades. A dull knife blade will not only be useless, but can also be more likely to slide off its cutting surface onto a finger or hand! That is why it is important to have the right tool to keep your knife edge sharpened. And ‘knife steel’ is the correct tool for safely sharpening any knife blade. Find yours by clicking here
